Making AI real with MYMAX at OMX2026

CLAID partnered with MYMAX to deliver OMX2026, a three day program in the Hunter Valley focused on putting AI to work inside private businesses. Our role was to help owners move from headline interest to practical, governed use cases they could actually run with.

CLAID was proud to partner with MYMAX on OMX2026, a three-day program in the Hunter Valley helping private business owners get practical about AI in their organisations. Across the event we worked with leaders to cut through the noise, focus on real business problems and talk honestly about where AI fits and where it doesn't.

Our sessions centred on three things: spotting good use cases in each business, seeing AI running against real examples and turning those ideas into simple next steps. We spent time looking at participants' current systems and data and showed how AI can support customer experience, operations and reporting without creating headaches for security or governance.

The hands-on AI Application Workshop was a clear highlight. Owners formed small teams, picked problems from their own businesses, such as document-heavy processes, sales follow-up and hard-to-find internal knowledge and built working prototypes in a short, focused block. It showed how quickly a small team can now stand up useful AI tools, and also highlighted the details that matter: where data is stored, who has access, how prompts are written and how you test outputs before anything goes near customers.

By the end of the program, most participants had a shortlist of AI ideas they could move on within the next quarter, with a clear sense of what "good enough" looks like for their size and risk profile.

If you'd like to talk about what a similar, practical approach to AI could look like in your business, we'd be happy to have a conversation.
